This place is like my second home, the staff is so nice and since I go almost everyday, they know my name and they also know my order. The coffee is very good, very flavorful and strong. They blended drinks are a special treat and are very tasty as well. The seasonal drinks are always worth a try as well. The pastries, desserts, and sandwiches are delicious, the entrees are yummy too, I especially like the pesto pasta. The salads are pretty decent. I do enjoy studying there as well, if you like study with background noise. It is good to some early, it gets pretty full when school gets out. On the weekends it is packed as well. I highly recommend this place!

I came to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf because I received a gift card that I wanted to make use of. I found easy and convenient parking out in the front. The actual shop was not crowded at all on a Friday afternoon. Only two other people were in there drinking coffee and studying on their laptops. It had a very quiet atmosphere which I really liked compared to other coffee joints. I was greeted by the girl at the register and she was very helpful. Since it was my first time, I had a lot of questions such as the size of the cups and how sweet their iced teas are. I got all the answers I wanted and decided to go with the summer special iced teas. I ordered an XL Passionfruit Iced Tea and an XL Pear Berry Iced Tea. The girl was even kind enough to offer me a stamp card, even when I was using a gift card. It only cost me just over $8 for two huge iced teas! I sampled both iced teas although I had to wait till I got home to drink one whole cup. After all, I wanted to let my mom choose which she preferred and I'd drink the other. I ended up with the passionfruit tea for myself. Both iced teas were decent. The passionfruit iced tea wasn't sweetened enough and only had a hint of passionfruit. It was good but I think I'd like it if it had a bit more passionfruit taste. On the other hand, the pear berry iced tea was too sweet. My mom liked that sweet taste but it was too overpowering in my opinion. Overall, I liked the friendly service and short wait time. However, the iced tea left something to be desired. Neither one was perfect so I'll just have to return and try out another flavor or even try their lemonade instead. For now, I'll stick to Starbucks for their passion tea with lemonade. That one beats the iced tea here hands down.

Went through the drive through. Friendly staff, great coffee and the drive through is just perfect on the way to work. :) No wonder Brittney Spears is addicted ;)

Love the drive thru. Nice service, too. it's the caramel frappacino for my today's pick...regrets of the calories come later when the scale likes to tease you for having one. Sorry, no picture...it's half gone. Humid hawaii weather, makes you thirsty. So Coffee Bean is the place to get that cool drink of caffeine, especially if you're a caffeine lover like me. Yum! Cheers!

I tried Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for the first time on Saturday and I'm in love. It's way better and Starbucks and is now my new coffee spot. The staff is friendly and you even get a punch card for every dollar you spend. The best part about this location is that they have a drive thru!!! I had to grab a coffee before work last night to get my fix. It's so convenient to use the drive thru instead of getting out of my truck and getting drenched by the rain. I love this place and the coffee.

As a Starbucks lover I wanted to see what whole commotion was when it came to this place. So many reviews, rather close to our house and seemed cheaper according to some yelpers. So we went in and it was pretty empty, I guess the morning rush was over (7am). We stepped to the side to view the menu and not a single person who worked there asked if we needed help and if we had any questions. They preferred to talk amongst themselves, because we are invisible right? I tried looking for the mud pie I had seen a fellow yelper post here but I did not see it on the menu, so I went with an iced white mocha (my usual at Starbucks) I really wanted to taste the difference. My boyfriend got a hot chai tea latte. I also got the smoked salmon bagel, I was feeling rather adventurous (haha). My boyfriend got the sticky bun pastry. Then the lady in the front finally asked if I wanted the bagel heated up when she saw me holding it, I said yes. Then we ordered (10% discount for military HOOAH), total came out to $16 and change for 2 drinks, a bagel and a pastry. She also offered us a stamp card which we said "sure" since for every dollar you spend, you get a stamp. We sat down towards the back (place is pretty big and it was empty), then the lady brought us out our food, then our drinks were called. So here goes as far as the drinks and food (drum roll)...... Iced white mocha: super bitter, no whipped cream, and not creamy. Chai latte: very bitter, my boyfriend had to put about 4 packets of sugar Smoked salmon bagel: my boyfriend did really like it, I thought it was just ok. Had so much cream cheese I could've made two other bagels with it. It also had large chunks of salmon (ew). Sticky bun: super super dry and barely sweet Overall this place is just ok, the prices from Starbucks only differ a little and they do give military discount which is great. As far as us stopping Starbucks and going here? It'll never happen and I'm not just saying this because I am a Starbucks lover, I did give this place a fair game. To some this will be the best coffee ever, but to me it was just not.

Great place to stop while shopping this area. Not so great on parking and tables fill up quickly do to not having many. Nice when getting one however. Great place to get work done with the use of wifi and available plug-ins for charging. Associates are friendly and helpful.

I like this location very much due to the fact that it has a drive thru. When I lived in Mililani, it was convenient to hit the waipio Starbucks drive thru, but since moving to Aiea, there is no drive thru nearby. I come here when I am feeling super lazy. There is never a line, it's fast, and my dog gets a car ride. My favorite drink here is the white mocha. Sometimes the caramel mocha. I have tried some of their bakery and sandwich items and have never been disappointed. I wish this place offered more than a stamp card that expires in a few months. I frequent Starbucks more due to their loyalty program.

The place is good; for a chain their coffee is fine. They also do good teas. The staff is friendly and helpful; Scott in particular is a fine barista. Ever since the beard papa closed, Coffee Bean bought out the space and made their store bigger, which makes for more space to study or catch up with friends. I like the long study tables with wall outlets nearby--again, good place to study.

There's nothing better than an iced cold Plantation Iced Tea from CB&TL.... oh wait there is! A plantation iced tea ordered at the DRIVE THRU so you don't need to get our of your car!! I love this location because of yes, the drive thru. When you have an infant in the back of your car you know how hard it is to take them out, order something and put them back in the car. Its too much of a long process! Which is why drive thrus are my saving grace! I've been here a few times and every time has been pleasant. Never a long wait at the drive thru, always super friendly staff and nothing ever wrong with my order. My fav CB&TL so far :)

Since I'm a "regular," I figured I would just post a short update. I finally had my first "bad" experience here today. I ordered a coffee and oatmeal in the drive through, and my oatmeal was forgotten. I waited for a few minutes in the drive through, but nobody came back, presumably because there was nobody behind me. I pulled around and parked and went inside, explaining to the girl what had happened. The first girl who had taken my order was nowhere in sight...not sure where she went or what happened. This new girl was very apologetic and quickly made my oatmeal up for me. They gave me my oatmeal for free due to the trouble and apologized again. Impeccable customer service...I can't even be upset! My oatmeal and coffee were fantastic, as always. Just wanted to give yet another thumbs up to TCB&TL, even in a mishap. This is exactly the type of customer service that I expect in a situation such as this...the fact that they did it without thought or without me asking just further instills my faith in them as a business and proves that they're awesome.

I went to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf today and had a nice experience. The staff was friendly and efficient. They have a stamp card program - one stamp per every dollar spent and then you get a free drink when the card is full. My favorite is the iced dark chocolate latte. On other occasions though I haven't been as lucky. It seems hit or miss depending on the staff there. The last time I went to order some powder and the two folks behind the counter acted as if it was a game weighing the powder and emptying a tiny bit at a time (they make sure it's exactly one pound). It took at least 5 back and forth times while laughing to each other - it looked like a big joke and meanwhile I was just waiting for them to finish up. Afterwards I also realized that they didn't stamp my card. Overall, they have a nice selection of foods to choose from as well.

CBTL or Starbucks? This is always a challenge for me to answer, but if I were to talk about value, CBTL wins. Starbucks can get really tough on the wallet, and they lack food items. CBTL, on the other hand, has so many different choices! My favorites for food are the salmon bagel, penne pasta, turkey sausage burrito, and chicken caprese sandwich. So yummy. For drinks I go for their matcha (which tastes way more matcha than Starbucks), mint tea latte, lychee iced tea, or just a plain iced coffee. Speaking of their coffee, it's a lot better than the coffee at Starbucks. I admit to drinking Starbucks often when I go to class or work because it's more convenient, but the flavor is so much better at CBTL. Just try it and taste for yourself. If that paragraph didn't convince you, then let us all remember that they have a drive thru. A DRIVE THRU. How convenient is that?! I love it.

A sweet friend of mine bought me an iced blended milk tea this morning. I was skeptical at first because I'm a true milk tea fan. What a surprise! It tasted just like a milk tea. If I'm not mistaken, I think they used oolong tea or black tea for that drink. Now I wonder if I can ask them to make a milk tea drink over ice...

I Love Mochi. Seriously I have no idea how I lasted 20 years on the planet without it. I can eat up to twenty pieces in a single day.. Thats how good that ish is.. With that being said, I love the Mochi at The Coffee Bean. When I don't feel like making the drive to Bubbies in downtown Honolulu, I always go to The Coffee Bean.. The Mochi is just as good, and the wait line is much shorter. I go through the drive-thru at least once a week to grab a frozen drink after sitting in traffic on Kamehameha in the blazing heat. I usually go for their frozen lemonade which is to die for. Last week, I tried their new drink called Lava Flow and it was really refreshing.I recommend it to all those coconut lovers out there! Sometimes, I come here to study, and there are always plenty of tables open. The staff is also really nice. I like it here a lot better than Starbucks. I'm not a coffee person, and they have plenty of options for us non-coffee folk!

I gave a five stars because we come here every Sunday after church. Unlike all the Starbucks here, we have never been disappointed or returned a drink. The coffee shots always taste fresh and you are always greeted with a big smile. Will definitely continue to come here. Bonus is a 10% military discount EVERY DAY

Dark Chocolate Skinny Latte is my go to HOT drink it's the absolute best!!! I see they have some NEW Pastries: warm breakfast scones, rolls, croissants, I went for the Spinach-Turkey-Cheese Scone, OMG it's absolutely delicious and the portion is huge! *always get served with a BIG SMILE by the nicest group of workers, love this DRVE THRU location in Pearl City, HI

Not a bad place. Good frozen coffee drinks.. No complaints really.. It's not Starbucks which can be good.. I did think that they were a bit pricey compared to Starbucks. However the coffee is a bit more enjoyable here. I'm not a huge fan of the sweat coffee flavored type of drinks. This place does have a large selection of teas. Good for a quick coffee or hangout with friends. Highly recommended.

Hard not to like this coffee bean. Very convenient Drive through And yummy Don't forget the stamp card. But I would say that they need a better loyalty program like Starbucks. I don't know where any if my stamp cards are and I always lose it or forget. I never go inside cuz the parking is so hilly though but it's not too bad.

A girlfriend and I, both in love with Starbucks, decided we would give this place a try. The Pearl City location always seemed odd to me as I drove by. I knew it as a gas station growing up! We pulled into one of the few parking stalls just outside of the store (parking is not a problem since there's a ton more behind the store for those who don't mind a little walking). Walking into the store I was immediately impressed! Comfy seats and tables were occupied, a glass refrigerated case overflowed with delicious pastries, breads, sandwiches and salads. Choosing just one broke my heart - literally! My mouth watered looking at the pumpkin crunch, lemon bars and pesto pasta... ugh... I'm such a fat ass. The sweet girl behind the counter joked with me over my indecisiveness and patiently stood there as I took everything in. My friend and I settled on a blended drink. Not what either of us would have ordered at Starbucks. I wasn't thrilled with my drink choice and end up throwing it away, but that's purely a result of my taste and trying something I wasn't sure of in the first place. I'll know better next time. I'm an App-aholic but unfortunately they don't have an app. Instead, they have a punch card and offer a 10% military discount... Both are a definite plus! Oh! Not to mention the drive through... Best invention EVER. This should be a building requirement of all coffee shops! I'll be back again and again (and again) until I've tried EVERYTHING in the glass case of temptation... And I'll be bringing a military friend with me. Haha!

This is one of my favorite places to chill, meet clients, and study. They're open pretty late, the snacks are good, and so is the coffee! My fave is their blended iced drinks like the lava flow. I also love how they make my iced caramel latte decaf with whipped cream. Yummmmmmy!!! They also have a stamp card that fills quickly....of course because I drink choke coffee. The staff are always friendly and helpful. There are enough tables and chairs. Usually there's an open outlet when I need to charge my apple stuff. They also have outside seating. The only bummer is their limited parking. Otherwise you can park near Foodland. Try their coffee cake muffin or lemon bar if you get a chance! 'munch munch'

What can I say? I love anything CBTL - been my favorite for years. Though I've had to reduce the sugar content in my lattes, I've found that the no sugar added vanilla works very well as a half 'n half with the dark chocolate lattes. One evening I gave in and tried the Moroccan mint and was very pleased! Had to avoid staying caffeine buzzed all night after the date with wifi ended. Service was above the par - always great at CBTL! The shop is fairly spacious and sells some good mugs and other personal of CBTL items. And the important thing for me is that the wifi works very well here! In general, just about all coffee shops have to have excellent wifi to stay in the game these days. CBTL is consistently good wherever you go. You can just read this review and stamp it on just about any CBTL shop. Their long hours are a good thing too. Recommend: VERY HIGH

My coworker had been coming into the office with these heavenly looking iced teas and I kept asking her eyes big "what on earth is that and where do I get one?" and finally she took me for one... :) I don't remember the name of the drink but its the iced tea with the pineapple in it. It was heaven in a cup. Heaven I tell you. Do you want to taste heaven? Go order one. Do not pass go, just go get one. Oh and if they have red velvet donuts, get one too. You've earned it, and if you haven't earned it, get bigger pants. *burp*

The hubs, "i really need coffee." me, "I guess I could go for a chai. Let's check out coffee shops on yelp." Starbucks, Starbucks, Starbucks, a closed Seattle's Best, Starbuck... Hey there's a coffee bean! So began our journey to the only Non starbucks in the aiea/pearl city area open 7 days. We traveled under bridges, along the ocean, passing some gritty areas of Club Hot Ash in Pearl City to arrive at the cofffee bean on Waimano home Road next to Foodland. Phew what an adventure! This calls for some iced caffeinated goodness. We enter the oasis of beans and leaves. What a relief! There is a void of pretentious coffee snob wannabe's who need their fix before their grocery shopping trip of mall visit. The ones who carry their gold rewards card and their receipt for their happy hour refill. OK well I love coffee too, and nothing has stopped me from going to Starbucks when the call arises. However, I'm so glad there is a very competitive alternative in the area. I'm hoping some new business owners open independent shops soon, but until then, this nonstarbucks will hold a special place in my caffeinated heart.

Watch out if you are sensitive to sugar and order the no sugar added. They seem to mix things up a lot. Unacceptable for such expensive drinks. I am on continuos glucose monitoring. Sugar level shot straight up twice when ordered no sugar added. Reported concern. They made excuses. Tried to explain nutrition to me. I am well aware & strictly follow Endocrinologist directions. I have had same drink for years with no issues before. My medical situation is not worse. In fact it has been better except the 2 last times I ordered a drink from here. They didn't even offer to make it right. Just excuses. Well, this is inexcusable when you pay $7.50 for a drink with their lack of quality controls and accountability. This is in addition to the poor customer service. Only safe thing for me to do is NEVER order from here again. I used to enjoy this rare treat. BEWARE diabetics and prediabetics THEY MIX UP MIXES and only offer EXCUSES. TERRIBLE.

The love I have for Coffee Bean really began with the Red Velvet Hot Chocolate! Soo delicious =) After the season was done, I had to find something else to love. Tea lattes! YES! I am not a coffee drinker, so this place was a perfect find for me. They have teas that are seasonal as well. Found that out with a broken heart. I am a creature of habit, so it's tough for me to get into something else quickly. But, they have so many different choices of tea, there is something for everyone. Like I said I am not a coffee drinker, but I have tried their Hazelnut ice blended drink and that was delicious. I have also gone a little daring and got a white chocolate ice blended with toffee bits, and that was also yummy in my tummy. :) That was daring for me! This location is close to my home, which is a plus, but the big bonus is the drive thru window!! It is located in Pearl City next to Foodland and Don Quiotes and above the Mcdonalds. The service is pretty quick, there are off times, but it still moves fairly quick and the team there are pretty nice. Military discount applies - 10% off

Giggity giggity drive through!!!! Conveniently located so nearby my work place, I usually swing by and get my java intake for the day. They are fast and efficient, but be prepared to wait a bit if you're behind a car who orders a ton of ice blended drinks. Believe me, it's happened before. My favorite, or actually one I just always order is a caramel latte. It's pretty strong, orrrr it could be that I'm just a weaksauce. Leaves me with a little spring on my step the entire work day. I had also ordered their cherry blossom iced tea, but meh, not my thing. Really did taste like I was drinking flowers in liquid form. Not as delectable as it sounds. If you want a breakfast to go along with it, my fave is their lemon bars! So good, you must try! Yay for their stamp cards and drive through coffee! (They just need to work on their blueberry muffins though).

Alright, listen up peeps. This is the real deal. My wife dragged me here for breakfast. What I expect from a coffee shop for food is that freeze dried mcmuffin knock off crap. What I got here was a legit breakfast croissant that was filling and absolutely delicious. My wife's breakfast burrito wasn't half-bad either. My point is this: don't be reluctant to grab breakfast here, and don't waste yourself on Starbucks or McDonald's breakfast when you can have this. Top off with cafe hazelnut and you'll be happy!

Live their mocha latte and their food items. I also love this location cuz of their drive thru. The only down part is that it takes so long when your in the drive thru but well worth the wait. Staff is nice and friendly nothing bad I have to say.

Call me a traitor, but this place is pretty great! So I'm a die hard Starbucks fan, got the Gold card and everything. They recently made changes to the rewards that I'm not a fan of, so I rarely go nowadays. Any who, I was craving a hot Chai latte, my regular drink at Starbucks and saw this place as I was leaving the Pearl City Shopping Center. I've heard good things about The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, but never went to try it out because there aren't any locations near my home or work so I never made it a point to go. I walk into the store and their are people sitting down talking, and one lady ahead of me. It seemed like a place you could actually study at. I skim through the menu and see "ice blended chai tea" and I'm thrilled! When it's my turn, I order just that. The cashier did a good job of trying to upsell me a snack along with my drink, but I sweetly decline. He gave me a stamp card, one stamp for every dollar spent, fill up the card and you get a free beverage. Who doesn't like a free drink?! The only downfall is that you have to finish it by July 31st. Two minutes later, my drink is up. I didn't have high hopes for it, because well being a die hard Starbucks fan, you'd know why! However, I stick a straw in and take a sip, and I'm in Chai Tea heaven! It was so good! So smooth and SO MUCH FLAVOR! I wish they'd open one in Mililani! Please TCBTL hear my plead! Open one in Mililani so I can experience your awesomeness every morning! Definitely heading here when I'm in the area!

Went to the drive-thru for an ice blended at exactly 9:43 pm 7/28 and was " helped" Shannon. After ordering our drink we patiently waited..there was one car in front of us at the pick-up window. No cars behind us. We were busy talking to notice but after 10 -15 minutes of waiting with no activity with the worker and car at the pick up window we started to wonder what's taking long. That's just a ridiculous wait especially of there's only two cars in the drive thru late at night when its not busy. It seemed that the worker got their order wrong. When we finally pulled up we didn't get a "thank you for waiting" or an apology. She just reached for our money without saying nothing at all. What kind of boss runs a place without teaching these kids some customer service. This is a job, not a chore. Knowing the procedures, she didn't even ask if I wanted to get my stamp card. Didn't give a napkin. Sad that I used to work for this company. Never coming here again.

Tea drive through! Do I need to say anymore? No. But I will! The service is always good here. The drive through is pretty fast whenever I go. My order is always right and thirst-quenching! I love their teas (I'm not a coffee person by any means) and they even have decaf options. They also have good salads! They are pretty small but the perfect size for me. Pretty large sitting area inside and out for a CBTL. Overall, pretty much my favorite CBTL!

Better than Starbucks, if you've come all the way to the island you might as well get the best outside of Honolulu. Well air conditioned and roomy, this place has a great friendly atmosphere that is great for work or play. The coffee is amazing, not too dark or burnt and comes in many different varieties. Baristas take the time to know your name and make sure you are helped out.

For me, this is one of those places that you see when you pass by/drive by on the daily and say to yourself this is one of these places that I wanna go to one day but really truly never end up going. I recently came here for the first time on one of those random days so I was like #whynot let's get it. I was actually traveling by foot. I've had the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf before it was pretty good to me I would say. However, I honestly go to Starbucks most of the time for my coffee fix. The location is pretty unique because they have a drive thru. One of these days, I gotta try out that experience and see what ordering coffee truly on the go feels like. I am sure that part gets pretty crowded in the mornings or so. The location itself is in the Pearl City area on the corner of Waimano Home Rd. and Hoolaulea St. It's a pretty convenient coffee location if you are shopping at the Pearl City Shopping Center area. They have their own small parking lot area right in front of the store. They have a few table and seating areas outside and inside and of course they have free WiFi which is always awesome for anybody. I ordered an Iced Coffee for $2.50 which was not bad. I gotta make sure to try out some other stuff next time. The staff and customer service is pretty good. I came during the late afternoon and it was pretty chill.

I have to admit I am a hardcore starbucks drinker, but coffee bean's hazelnut latte coffee is the BEST hazelnut coffee EVER!! Even starbucks can't touch coffee bean for this coffee. I'm pretty sure but this location is the one that as a DRIVE THRU!! For lazy people like myself, sometimes a drive thru is the best way to go! There is a slight wait because they make the drink as it's ordered but the thing is once u get your coffee u can go back on the round :) Besides the hazelnut coffee, i have to admit the lemon bars are SUPER good!! So if you're looking for another coffee shop and some goooooooddd hazelnut coffee, this is the place to go! Yes, i know how many times i've said hazelnut coffee, but it's sooooo good! so it's worth a trip!!

I haven't tried all of their drinks, but I'm a BIG fan of their food. If you're looking for something sweet & sinfully rich, I suggest trying their morning glory dessert. It reminds me of a carrot cake without the frosting & its dripping with syrup (I'm guessing it's honey). I'm never able to leave Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf without an order of their penne pasta, it's super delicious. I only wish there was chicken to make it a hearty meal & I love that they always give you the option of heating your pasta, dessert or bagel & never give you an attitude about it. It's also the perfect place to study or have a quick coffee date.

When doing 'drive-thru' coffee it would be great to: 1) Ask if you want cream and sugar and add the requested amounts to the beverage. McDonald's has this down. 2) If you can't do #1 for some reason (too much work?) and you insist on giving me sugar packets on the side...can I at least get a stirrer as well? Maneuvering in my car trying to open a steaming hot cup of coffee to add the sugar in is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Oh my little bean of wonders. I used to go to the Salt Lake one but have heard through the bean-vine that it was no longer in business. So I drove 45 minutes into town from Waipahu to get to Ala Moana JUST to get my fix. I had to; my parents bought me a gift card and Coffee Bean moolah is just terrible to waste. A crime I daresay. I yelped Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and LO AND BEHOLD, the Pearl City one showed up. Grabbed The Boy and drove quickly to the location. Parked near Don Quixote and then walked up towards our destination. Then...crap. They have a drive thru. The walk was good though. Got my usual iced hazelnut soy latte then waited. Jumped up and down and squealed during the wait process. The coffee was delicious, the service was quick, and I was satisfied. Just wish they'd open up one even closer to home...like maybe walking distance. I'll be back my little bean, don't you worry.

I don't know what it is about Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, but their coffee is always rich, smooth and creamy. I'm a bonafide Starbucks junkie, and have made 5 Starbucks runs in one day in the past....but for some reason, there's always a hint of bitterness to their coffee...something I usually counter by getting extra caramel or sweetened teas. At Coffee Bean, I have never once asked for extra sweetener or caramel walls. They're a little more expensive, but they have a loyalty punch card, so you can get a free drink (any size) after spending $50.00. The card usually expires in August, but the workers are always nice enough to transfer the stamps to the new card if you didn't finish it in time. My favorites: Hazelnut Iced Latte Hazelnut Ice Blended Dark Chocolate Ice Blended (so rice and creamy...and just what I need after a bad day) Black Forest Ice Blended (this has chocolate covered expresso beans and maraschino cherries....yummmy) There was a time when they advertised they were making iced macchiatos for a limited time...and I have to say...those were stronger than Starbuck's version but much more balanced and flavorful...Bring those back please! This location also has a drive-thru :) Just remember: Their blended drinks are called Iced Blended and not frappuccinos and their sizes are regular and large, not tall, grande and venti...they will scold you and tell you the difference. Each Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf location offers Bubbies Mochi Ice Cream (but each one will have different flavors)...This location has Chocolate Coconut....LOVE IT!

They have adjusted the temp setting so it's a lot more comfortable. Love studying and hanging out CBTL PC!

Oh Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, you continue to surprise me!!! A regular stop for myself before moving to Seattle (the coffee capital) and I was not certain that I'd find a coffee joint comparable or even better...but guess what!? No such place exists!!! I have found a few favorites but none that cure our craving for Coffee Bean! There is only one answer, open in Seattle or else I'm moving home! For those of you who love Coffee Bean as much as I do and are now living or visiting Seattle, here are a few places you may also enjoy: - Espresso Vivace - Peet's - Jewel Box Café (great bubble tea as well) - Honey Bear Café - Bigfoot Java To Elaborate: I recently flew home to visit the family and made my first stop at Coffee Bean, straight from the airport! While there, Ialso found myself getting coffee bean twice a day for a week! Perks: All drinks made with NSA Powder and Soy Favorite Drink: Ice Blended Hazelnut Latte Cons: No location in Seattle! :(

In my opinion they beat Starbucks Cus they have military discounts! Seems like the consistency factor was stressed in the training that they have. Love the milk teas they have, sit better than the Starbucks that I usually get

I will ALWAYS prefer Coffee Bean over Starbucks! I'm not much of a coffee person to begin with so the wide variety of different teas offered at CB&TL appeals to me more.

I HAVE FINALLY FOUND MY REPLACEMENT FOR STARBUCKS!!! Cue the heavenly music!! Lo and behold this place has a drive through. I haven't seen a coffee with a drive through in a very long time and I was super excited!!! So I went through the drive through and the guy who took my order was super nice and answered my questions!! I think I need to go back again because I ended up getting the black forrest blended coffee. I didn't know that it was a frappachino type beverage. I really am going to have to check out their iced coffees. The reason I like this coffee better is because they have better flavors, their coffee doesn't give me a stomach ache like Starbucks does and it's richer!! Not only is the coffee better but the food is better too. It's also not rediculously priced like Starbucks and it's healthy and delicous. Instead of paying 10 dollars for a meal you pay maybe 5 dollars for a meal here and it's better quality food. If I have to pick between CBTL and Starbucks I will pick CBTL any and everything. Their coffee is yummy, their food is yummy, they have a better quality AND the staff is much nicer here. It's a little more expensive but I think it's worth it!

#56/365 Came here to study for the first time and it was nice. It wasnt crowded at all, the music not blasting loud and the temperature was not freezing cold like...ahem...starbucks. The food and drinks are a bit more than the other main coffee chain but the atmostsphere here is much better, and brighter :). I got an Ice coffee and it was $2+ for a regular (small). Tasted like usual ice coffee to me. I def what to try their other unique cold/blended drinks like the red velvet and honeydew.

Yelp 365 Challenge #97/365 From the slow drive-thru to the mechancial, cooler attitude of the barista's...this location has gone down a star in my review. There was no sales price on the tumbler, which the barista assumed the tumbler was the expensive line without verfiying. Lack of sincere apology as your manager was dragged from the back to cancel the first transaction, refund the first transaction, and re-charge me a new transaction while you should have just credited me back the difference...it seems that customer service training is overdue in a refresher couse. Ms. Barista, who speaks very fast with no breaks in between words due to attempting to multi-task the inside counter as well as drive-thru? Learn how to work with your morning team to smoothly transition your orders with a friendly and sincere attitude as well as learning how to speak slowly and clearly. Note to self: Only go to this location at desperate measure moments

I love their drive thru! & how they are open till 11 on some days. They are really friendly. Although their drinks are pricey, it's worth trying. I always get their iced tea lemonade or blended dark chocolate. They have a lot of deserts and food to choose from. Miss it when beard papa was next to them. I like how they have stamp cards! So when it's full, I get a free drink!

On the mainland, very few CBTLs have drivethrus. They are usually stand alone, or in plazas, and are meant to be the antithesis to Sbuxs. You know, a neat place to hang out all day with music and friends etc. I literally almost cried when I realized we moved into a house up the street from CBTL with a DRIVE THRU! This has been both a blessing and a curse as it has really enabled my red velvet latte/white choco latte/iced green tea addictions. People are always friendly, service is always fast.

When I' am tired, I drink coffee. When I 'am up and alert, I drink coffee. When I need a caffeine fix, I drink coffee. If it's 10:00 A.M. or 10:00 P.M., I drink coffee. Needless to say, I love coffee and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) is the perfect place to get my fix. I highly suggest you try the hazelnut latte. Get it with an extra shot to spice it up. As Jenny S mentioned, it is the best hazelnut latte I have tasted as well. Feeling lazy? No worry! They have a drive-thru. One downside is that Beard Papa is no longer next store! I miss getting my cream puff and coffee at the same place. CBTL sells a limited amount of snacks, but I will always want a cream puff. There is ample seating and free Wi-Fi inside. The only downside is the location of the restroom. There is no hall way that leads to the restroom. It's a just a door that EVERYONE can see you enter and exit. I really don't want to see people coming in and out of a restroom when I drink my coffee.

My favorite CB&TL location because they have a drive-thru and most of the time, they get my order's right! Most of the time.. :) I do like the way the CB&TL in the Kailua Times tastes better though. But the convenience of being able to just drive thru when you have kids is just sometimes what makes or breaks a decision for me. Life is so much easier to just get it to go then to have to unpack everyone from their carseats and start over. Anyway, here, I've noticed they go out of their way to make you want to come back by making sure to offer you your discounts.. like Military! My father-in-law gets those, and when we go shopping together we treat ourselves to CB&TL afterwards and head home happy. My son loves the blueberry-pomegranate ice-blended drink they have. We get it in size small, which isn't on the menu, but they can do :) My favorite is the white chocolate dream, decaf with soy.. my best friend used to work at a different CB&TL location a long time ago and she got me hooked on this drink... I've ordered it basically since I found out about CB&TL. They also make some pretty good foods. Like guava cupcakes and cake balls for your sweet tooth!!! :)

Love stopping by this place whenever I am in the area. Great pasteries, coffee, and tea. Usually I get the iced team lemonade or the iced tea lattes. Love that they have a wide variety of teas compared to Starbucks. The baristas here are all very friendly, and I always get great service! In addition to the teas, their coffee is also pretty good. They have good blended beverages as well. A lot of what makes this place great to me is the wide range of options that they have in terms of drinks or food.

oops.....how have i not yelped you yet? I see you almost every day. the drive-thru is my best friend. they are really friendly, very fast and don't mess up half as much as starbucks does. plus, i heart their egg salad sammie. their other bakery items are really great too and the place is really nice to chill at night with friends. LOVE.

I come here a lot because my parents live nearby and there really isn't anything else to do there besides watch TV! So my sister and I always hit up this Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, or as we affectionately call it: Coffee Tea & Bean Leaf...since our mother has a problem with saying names correctly! We like to get a drink and snack and just cruise outside at one of their tables...sometimes the umbrellas are up and sometimes not. But I won't even try to open it...I have a fear of getting pinched. Service is good, but they forgot about my hot food item twice before...that kinda sucked, but they apologized, so it's OK. Anyway, I still prefer CB&TL over Starbucks...I don't care for bitter/burnt coffee and if you do, we shouldn't be friends!!

I never thought I would stray away from my beloved Starbucks, but I am a fan of CBTL (at least this location anyway...haven't been to another, but I'm sure the quality is just as great!) I still love my SB though, lol. So what makes CBTL different from Starbucks? 1) The main difference? Food selection is BETTER. I was impressed to find a whole assortment of goodies (both sweet and savory) at CBTL. Aside from your typical muffins and bagels, they have an awesome lemon crunch bar (which is also a much more generous serving than what you'd get at SB for the same price), burritos, pastas, and sandwiches. They even serve Bubbies mochi ice cream! 2) The service at this location is also impeccable. The staff is super friendly and are willing to help you have the best experience possible. I'm guessing they're used to dealing with SB regulars like me since they are so patient and willing to make sure you get a drink that'll be satisfying. Now, why just 4 stars? The food I ordered wasn't as good as the food I've had at SB. I ordered a pesto pasta and an iced tea lemonade. The pesto pasta was a bit bland (still good, but not as flavorful as I've had). The iced tea lemonade was also good but not great. I still love my Strawberry Passion Iced Tea Lemonade from SB. Starbucks elevates the coffee experience while CBTL makes it more accessible to the everyday person. There's nothing wrong with either approach. Just depends on which one you prefer! Overall, i'm happy that I got to try CBTL and will definitely come back in the future. However, I'm sad to say I'm not a convert. I guess I'm just so used to my SB ways.

So glad we found this coffee shop. We found it mostly by accident. Coming from seattle we have Starbucks every other street corner, and we really wanted to get something better... And boy did we! Service was awesome, and so were the drinks. We even drove almost 40 minutes just to go get one before we found another one right down the road from the Turtle Bay area. Now we can go all the time!

Man, Coffee Bean is some good stuff. Today I tried the gingerbread cookie ice blend. Goooooood stuff. It's nice and sweet and light in all the right places. This location offers great service all the time. I'm starting to think that the trainers here focus a little more on customer service than the ones at Starbucks. This isn't true for ALL Starbucks locations of course. Team Moanalua is still number one in terms of service and smiles. And this Coffee Bean comes in at a close second. The Coffee Bean in Ala Moana comes in third. Generally speaking, I think the employees at Coffee Bean are a little more optimistic about their jobs and in it shows. However, Team Moanalua still rocks their socks.

I haven't been here in a while. I used to come here a lot. I moved so don't get here to much anymore so I was excited to say the least that I was in the area . so I stopped in. What a disappointment !!!! I Ordered a green tea Iced sweetened, what I got was ice water with sugar seriously I'm not kidding!!! There was no tea it was clear as water no color :( at all water forsure. . I was in a hurry so I didn't notice till I got to work. :( I was hoping the tuna wrap would at least be good to make up for it. Nope first bite no flavor :( I was so disappointed I hate it when I spend good money on crappy food an drink.

Love love love this place. I love the drive thru. The service is great and their selection of teas is better than other coffee places. And it takes me less than ten minutes for my tea in the morning before work. My current obession is iced genmai cha with a little dash of half & half and a couple packets of splenda. It's got a nice roasted flavor and perfect for the summer time.

I started coming here every day before work for my coffee fix and they are awesome! The bonus is its a DRIVE THRU! ^_^ So let's start with the coffee - Good stuff! I hate that sour/bitter taste that starbucks and other coffee places tend to have. And the one time I got a burnt cup of coffee the barista apologized and happily gave me a new fresh cup :) The one thing I love is they never forget my straw. I asked the first couple times I went there and haven't had to ask since, they are definitely on it! The fruit bowl is pretty darn awesome! (I know I love the word awesome). I have never experienced such a cheap fruit bowl with such an assortment of fruits! They have grapefruit (which I have never seen in a fruit bowl), oranges, grapes, blueberries, watermelon, honey dew, cantaloupe, kiwi, and strawberries! Talk about choices! And all of those fruits are ALWAYS included. I have only tried a few of the items on their food list, and the Chicken Caprese sandwich is sooooo yummy! I am actually eating it right now! It has chicken, mozzarealla cheese, red onion, & pesto...mmmmm the chicken tastes kind of like huli huli chicken or some kind of chargrilled chicken, not the weird fake tasting stuff you would expect. Overall I love this place and I am sooooo happy they offer a drive thru so my lazy butt can sleep in that extra five minutes :)

Starsucks is WAY overrated. I don't drink coffee but I do eat snacks and like this Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location. Lots of chairs and hardly packed. Free wifi so you can check your internet and much on tasty cupcakes or pumpkin crunch. The staff was friendly and even the other customers too! So if you really need a coffee fix or a place to study or do some work outside your house and you're in Pearl City try this spot.

Love these guys!! Seriously....the staff here at this particular CB&TL are awesome...I love when I walk in, they greet me by my name, and already know what I'm gonna order. They're so fun and personable...but that's just the service. I loooove their Dark Chocolate Ice Blended Drink...it's the best!!! Not to mention aaaaaall the different teas. I'm usually a tea drinker...but the only coffee drink I have is that Dark Chocolate Ice Blend...super creamy and rich...like heaven in a cup!! Love it!! Another bonus...they're right next to the Beard Papa...AND they have a drive-thru!!

So how does a review go from one star to five? Easy, the manager asked Mr. Smoke-On-The-Patio not to return. I even saw a hand-made no smoking sign taped to their window just to get their message across. I've been back EVERY day since! As I said earlier service here is great - friendly and helpful. Their Matcha Latte is my new favorite and I get their Chinese Chicken Salad for a light refreshing lunch!

Who loves a drive-thru coffee joint?! I do, I do! I come here because it's uber convenient. It's less than a mile away from my house, so I can hit it on my way into work. Starbucks is also less than a mile away from where I live, but sometimes I just can't summon up the energy or desire to step out of my car and order my morning java. That's when I'm feeling particularly lazy and pathetic, of course. It doesn't take a lot to please me. I'm fairly easygoing. I just LOVE that Coffee Bean offers a stamp card. It makes me feel like I'm being appreciated and rewarded. Over the course of my coffee-drinking and bagel-eating life, I cannot count how many of those cards I've redeemed. It's been many, I can tell you that. My other half absolutely loves the Extreme Hazelnut Ice Blended drink and our kids like the Mailbu and Sunrise Ice Blended drinks. CBTL has a great selection going on with both the drinks and the food. I like that they have a bagel with salmon on it! Yum! And who can say no to a red velvet cupcake?! Who, I ask?! The service has always been pretty good. I can't remember ever driving away being disappointed. I find myself coming here more and more. Keep those stamp cards comin', baby.

Love their outside dining area. My mom takes me with her, as she can enjoy her coffee and breakfast and I get to sit and watch all the people come by. Defintely a MUST visit again place. Good coffee, good breakfast items also. Friendly staff and love that it is always clean.

What does a humid, hair-flattening day need? Something, anything from CB & TL! Brought the girls here after school and it was heaven. Girl got the mocha something & vanilla something. They said both hit the spot. but, my honeydew was the best. Even better that the *bucks one. The flavor didn't taste artificial like the other places do. Whipped to perfection it just flowed thru my straw without me having to suck too hard. Everything was perfect until I got the dreaded "brain freeze"!

I have two young kids who for some reason LOVE to fall asleep in the car for their naps...so what does a loving, caring mother like myself do? Drive around for an hour or two so they can get their much-needed rest. Therefore, drive-thru's have become my best friend. Since there are no drive-thru coffee establishments in town - why is that anyway? - I ended up in Pearl City at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Honestly, I don't go to CBTL much but I was pleasantly surprised to find dark chocolate ice blended drink on their menu! It was sooo yummy! I love dark chocolate...plus it makes me feel better because it's supposed to lower your blood pressure and it's an antioxidant. Woo hoo!

As advertised, solid coffee and available for drivethrough. My personal drink of choice is just a plain, iced white chocolate latte w/ an addshot. Please remember to start a stamp card (if you don't already have one), get your card stamped (if you have one), or just give them any receipts you still may have w/ a card (they'll credit the card). Unfortunately, Beard Papa's next door has closed. So the ability to get both without leaving your car is no longer an option. As a heads up, if you are short on time, hitting the drivethrough is a roll of the dice. While I love being able to sit and relax in my car with my AC on and music blasting, I've had a few occasions of waiting upwards of 8-10 minutes to get through and out. If you are coming in from Hoolaulea Street (the most common access point for the drivethrough), make sure to peek at the line. 2 or more cars and you are probably best served by walking in. Your call. They got Starbucks covered though, no comp. But, with inconsistent drivethrough times and no longer having a BP attached, I can't give it 5. Def a solid 4 for my coffee fixture.

I have a new found love for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf! I have been a patron of Starbucks for the past 10+ years but the past couple months, I haven't been able to get myself to go back anymore... It can't beat Coffee Bean now... which makes a little bit sad. However, I can't deny that one is better than the other... ;) I even worked at Starbucks, while in college for a couple years (mainly to help alleviate the hole it was burning in my pocket)... now CB is causing it... What do they put in their coffee at CB?! & it doesn't help that I live near the Pearl City location which has drive-thru... it makes it way to convenient to frequent... hehe! Iced Vanilla Soy Latte. Iced Chai Teas English tea latte. All so yum! Oh! the only downer is that it's more expensive than Starbucks and they don't have any gold card program like Sbux does... ): Doesn't take away any stars though... ;)

If only this location was a little bigger, this would be the perfect coffee shop. This is the closest Coffee Bean to my parent's house and I love that it's never so crowded that I can't quickly get a drink. Despite its small size, it's also relatively easy to snag one of the few tables that they have if you want to sit. There is ample parking here, but if you don't want to bother with parking, this location also has a drive thru (which they share with the neighboring Beard Papa's. If you're a frequent visitor, don't forget to get their stamp card. If you spend enough money (you have a year to do it), you'll get a free drink. =)

I want to note first that I am giving this CBTL four stars just because it's the closest coffee shop to my house. I think it sprouted up a couple of years ago when people were really starting to wonder what was to become of the gas station-turned-auto shop-turned-abandoned site near the grocery store. Tada! CBTL right next to Beard Papa's. Here, I've had some good conversations with friends, hung out with my family after dinner, etc. With indoor and outdoor seating, it's a nice place to drop by to pick up a drink or snack and chill out. I don't know if the coffee or pastries are the best I've ever had, but I am a huge fan of the location and atmosphere. Pearl City needed a little hang out like this and it's finally here.

I was told today that they have stopped giving out free newspapers with purchase of a drink, because of the merger between the Star Bulletin and the Advertiser. I brought my Clinique travel mug along, so I received their $0.10 discount for my decaf. coffee. They have a current special where a purchase of a brown t-shirt that reads, "Where you Bean?" brings discounts on Wednesdays, between a certain time period of weeks. I didn't have $17 to buy the brown t-shirt at the time. On my way out, I looked inside of Beard Papa and reminded myself to come back soon.

For a coffee addict like me, this shop is a true blessing! Their drinks are always flavorful and the service is fantastic. I love their food menu, much healthier and tastier than Starbucks. The drive thru is pure genious especially on rainy days. Simply, I love this place and so wil you.

I love this Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for their drive thru. I am super lazy while my husband likes to get out and go into the store. Anyway, I usually end up winning and we get to do it the easy way and order through the drive thru. Anyway, my favorite drinks here are the Ultimate Ice Blended Mocha and the Moroccan Mint either hot or on ice. Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is my favorite place to get coffee and the convenience of this place makes it even better! My favorite location.

Oh CB&TL and Iced Dark Chocolate Latte...how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Until this past year, I've never really given CBTL that much thought. Starbucks was the old go to. Not really the standard but just the go to. You know how we all don't really like to try something new in fear of it being crappy and feeling like we wasted our money. Well, I'm officially a convert and you should become one too. I have a friend that comes here oh pretty much EVERY morning. So much so that they know its her as soon as she pulls up to the drive thru. She even brings them goodies at Christmas. Haha. Sorry friend. Oh and if anyone watches Flipping Out on Bravo, Jeff Lewis and his team used to always go to Starbucks but I noticed that they all drink CB&TL now. Just an observation and side note. Anyways like most other people have said, the staff here is really friendly, they always acknowledge you and thank you for waiting even if the wait time is zilch. Very good customer service. The gift cards from Costco are another thing that makes coming here so worth it. Who doesn't love getting things for cheaper? $80 for $100 worth of gift cards...yes please! I can't say that I know what good coffee taste like and I'm not even really informed about what the difference is between a cappuccino or a mocha. I don't really care. I do care that they have Dark Chocolate Powder that makes my iced latte taste soooo wonderful. And isn't that why we get flavored coffee drinks anyways?! We want to mask the coffee flavor but still get the caffeine fix. They are always consistent with the flavor and quality of my drink. Also, LOVE that they have crushed ice. And if you're looking to get your fix but maybe with a little less calories, fat, sugar, carbs etc. try asking for a size small. They don't advertise it and mainly use it for kiddie drinks but you can always get your drink in a small size. They also use either skim or non-fat milk (can't remember) in their drinks unless you indicate otherwise. Now if they only would make a No Sugar Added Dark Chocolate Powder then I would definitely go there everyday. And if you haven't tried their Belgian Waffle then you don't know what you're missing. Its the perfect little handheld breakfast treat. It comes in either chocolate or vanilla flavor and make sure you get it toasted. Sometimes the little chocolate/vanilla chunks are kind of crystallized in the waffle giving it that sweet crunch. OMG! Yes, the drive thru can be a crap shoot. I say if there are more than 2 cars in line then just walk in. And getting back out to Hoolaulea St. to turn down Waimano Home can be a pain but totally worth it to get that cup of goodness that makes my drive to work all that more enjoyable. I work out in Waianae so if Pearl City is busy then I have another chance to go to the Makakilo one. Yay! I started out only allowing myself to go there once a week but have moved way beyond that. However, I'm not yet at the everyday status. Wink wink friend. ; )

Alright.... so, unlike everyone else on here who gave this place 5 stars, I would like to give it ZERO stars but since I can't, I'll give it one star. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE coffee bean & tea leaf.... anywhere ELSE. I adore their hazelnut iced blended coffee and tea lattes. However, I had one horrifying experience at the Pearl City store which I will never forget and has made me never want to visit that particular one. One day me and my boyfriend decided to bike our way around Pearl City, and we got thirsty so we stopped by CB&TL. I thought coffee would make me more thirsty, so my bf went in and bought us a giant cup of iced black tea. Ok, sounds normal. WRONG. From first taste it seemed as if whoever made it had left the teabag in there for 10 minutes, it was so bitter and nasty!!! Now I'm a bit of freak when it comes to tea because I used to work at a tea place. But anywho, we went back in and complained, and got the iced GREEN tea instead, thinking that that at least would be impossible to screw up. But no, this time the tea tasted like (I'm not kidding here) DISHWATER. Yes, the kind where the soap is still floating on top.... I turned to the side and gagged as soon as it hit my mouth. At first I thought that they had did something to the drink because we had complained, but it seemed that they were being serious. I really hope they don't have this kind of bad drink service in the future, but either way I won't be going there again.

I had an iced mocha. Super fast service...good tasting. In future will make it point to hang out here if I get chance to do some work and stay cool.

Maybe I had high expectations coming here as other locations I have been to before never failed me. I always ask what the new thing is and what do they prefer and if it sounds good then I get it. The girl at the counter was nice, nothing above average, but she did say that the hibiscus drink was her favorite. Hibiscus sounds good (that or I was just thinking it looked good) so I went ahead and ordered it. I do have to give props to the quick service and cleanliness of the place. There were many people there and when I did get my drink-from the first sip I thought-this tastes like water, only thing is that they dyed it. It looked good with the berries inside of it, and I thought that maybe I have to let them soak in the "hibiscus" and what not. But it was not pleasant at all. I'm sure it was not supposed to taste like, just water. I left disappointed, sad part is I'd probably still return me, but just make my own decision.

dark chocolate latte, peanut butter and banana bagel is very good. service is good. I am a diehard SB fan and go there everyday, but the coffee here is better.

I LOVE Coffe Bean & Tea Leaf! My favorites would have to be their hot chocolate (beats Starbucks' one BIG time!) and their iced mango green tea or strawberry cream green tea along with an Einstein's "everything" bagel! YUM! Best part about CB&TL is the customer service. At all of their locations customer service has always been awesome! This is coming from someone like me who spent 5 years working in a very busy restaurant I know a bit about the food industry and have high expectations. Another plus about this location is the drive thru! Especially when I'm in a rush to get to class but want something to eat/drink. You can also order from Beard Papa's menu (which is right next door to them) in the drive thru. One of my favorite places to go to! :)

The staff is nice & friendly even at 6 in the morning. :) The best part of this CBTL is that they have a drive thru. This has to be my best CBTL.

I am not going to lie, I like coffee bean and tea leaf more than starbucks, mainly because starbucks always messes up my drinks. But coffee bean is always spot on and to top this one off they have a drive thru with beard pappas. It is probably one of the only coffee beans with a drive thru so if you get a chance go see it!!

  • Dawn M.

I love it here! Their service and friendly smile always makes my day;) No matter what time of day I come there, the staff are always so bubbly and prompt. The drive through service is connected with Bearded Papa's and their pita sandwiches are bomb! Always fresh and definitely my choice for a healthier tasty option. Comment card please?!

i think i like coffee bean and tea leaf more than starbucks. it is more expensive, but i like the flavor more. there's more richness - that's the best way to explain it. it's not as crowded as starbucks, so it's perfect when i have to study. parking isn't too bad because it's in the same parking lot as foodland. i wish the facility was a little bigger. if you ever need to study, hit up coffee bean!

I love this place! I was going so often that I had to buy a pack of cards from Sam's Club ($80 for $100 worth), and I'm on my last one already... Also have gotten a few free drinks with their stamp cards. The staff are so friendly, remembered my name and typical order right away, and there's lots of seating-- air-conditioned inside and warm outside --with mellow background music. Also, the coffee and food are totally ono. Tastiest Iced Mocha ever (I always bring my own purple cup with straw, which I bought there), and yummy sandwiches, pasta salad, etc. I go there to read, use the free internet, meet with coaching clients by phone, work on teaching curriculum and choreography (in my head).

When did The Coffee Bean raid Oahu? Don't matter much I like their ice blendeds way better than the 'bucks. The plus to this location, there's a DRIVE THRU!!! Like what? Yeah no joke. A drive thru. There's also a Beard Papa connected to it. We didn't do the drive thru though so I'm not sure if you can get your puffs via drive thru too. Oh yeah and on Thursdays you can get a $1 off your mocha or chocolate ice blended!!!

I was craving a Chai Tea, cause I was missing family that makes it in the morning when I'm in L.A. So, I decided to go get one here because it's right around the corner from me. It was excellent!!! It was sweetened to perfection!! Ever since that day I've wanted to stop and get one before work to curb my habit of having a Red Bull before heading to work. Since I haven't been able to do that, my only other option was getting one at Starbucks since there is one inside where I work. The Chai Tea Latte from CBTL is hands down WAY better than Starbucks!! Starbucks is way too frothy, not as sweet, and always seems like they're being skimpy with the amount. CBTL has the taste of the homemade version I get from family. That warms my heart!! Love it!!

Great place to stop while shopping this area. Not so great on parking and tables fill up quickly do to not having many. Nice when getting one however. Great place to get work done with the use of wifi and available plug-ins for charging. Associates are friendly and helpful.

*burp*

Love this place. Even in California. This location has awesome speedy service. I have an expired stamp card and they will still let you redeem! Definitely like this one better than Ala Moana

(2/4/2013) I love everything about this place. Even going thru the drive-thru just makes me feel happy. Trying the almond biscotti ice blended latte for the first time...like I said-love it! 500 stars!

All so yum! Oh! the only downer is that it's more expensive than Starbucks and they don't have any gold card program like Sbux does... ): Doesn't take away any stars though... ;)

Awesome service. Very friendly and thoughtful to my dogs on the patio. Drinks taste better than other well-known coffee places.

They have great tea! Their coffee is good too. I love this place! Just wish the bagels were better

I drive all the way here from Salt lake because they have the best lattes! The baristas are always nice :] I only go to starbucks when I don't have time and am desperate for some coffee :P
